L’omosessualit\u00e0 nello sport \u00e8 un argomento spinoso. Ancora oggi, la paura per un orientamento sessuale differente, si insinua in tutti gli spogliatoi. Per questo motivo, l’omosessualit\u00e0 spesso viene (a torto) contrastata. Tutti per\u00f2 dovrebbero sentirsi a proprio agio in tutti i luoghi che vivono, soprattutto in quelli che amano di pi\u00f9. Spesso per\u00f2 questo non \u00e8 possibile perch\u00e9 ci sono dei personaggi che ancora non accolgono le svariate differenze del mondo. Differente non vuol dire sbagliato.<\/p>\n

Questa \u00e8 proprio la testimonianza della 24enne campionessa di Boxe, Irma Testa.<\/p>\n

La lunga intervista della campionessa<\/h2>\n

In una lunga intervista per Vanity Fair, la campionessa ha parlato della sua esperienza e di come nello sport viene vista l’omosessualit\u00e0:<\/p>\n

“Le persone che mi stanno vicino lo sanno da anni, ma credo sia giusto, ora, dirlo a tutti. Parlare di orientamento sessuale nel mondo dello sport ha un valore speciale, perch\u00e9 ai campioni si chiede di essere perfetti. E per molti l\u2019omosessualit\u00e0 \u00e8 ancora un\u2019imperfezione. Per timore di intaccare la propria immagine tanti sportivi tacciono e si nascondono. Anche per me \u00e8 stato cos\u00ec fino a pochi mesi fa. Ma quella medaglia di Tokyo \u00e8 diventata il mio scudo: ora che la Irma atleta \u00e8 al sicuro, la Irma donna pu\u00f2 essere sincera”<\/em><\/p>\n

Ecco dove Irma ha trovato il coraggio di parlare al grande pubblico. Gi\u00e0, perch\u00e9 alla famiglia invece non l’ha mai nascosto.<\/p>\n

“Alla mia famiglia la verit\u00e0 non l\u2019ho mai nascosta. Quando l\u2019ho detto a mia mamma non avevo nemmeno 16 anni. Lei l\u2019ha presa con naturalezza. Pensavo non potesse capire, e invece ha capito. Mi ha detto: se sei felice, per me va bene”<\/em><\/p>\n

Lo sport poi, l’ha fatta viaggiare tanto, scoprendo luoghi del tutto nuovi, con un modo di pensare diverso da quello nostrano:<\/p>\n

“Ho visto che ci sono posti in cui chi ti piace non importa a nessuno. Le etichette \u00e8 giusto che ci siano: per fare che le cose diventino normali bisogna prima passare dalle etichette. Ma io non le uso perch\u00e9 a me non piacciono”<\/em><\/p>\n
